Grace Brown, Joint Head of Garden Court Chambers, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Diversity & Inclusion: Outstanding Contribution category at the Chambers UK Bar Awards. Grace is a prominent public law barrister and has been recognised as a leading figure in human rights, immigration, and refugee law. She has a deep commitment to seeking justice for migrants and their families and has played a pivotal role in numerous Windrush Scheme and Windrush Compensation Scheme cases, helping individuals regularise their status in the UK and secure their rights.

Grace's unwavering commitment to advancing the rights of marginalised communities has been instrumental in her nomination. She has tirelessly advocated for justice, both through her legal work and by speaking at numerous events and writing on the subject.

A leading figure in immigration and human rights law, Grace has been instrumental in challenging inequities and failings within the Windrush Compensation Scheme. Her expertise and dedication have earned her recognition and respect within the legal community. She was highly commended in the 'Advocate of the Year' category at the Women & Diversity in Law Awards 2024, shortlisted for the 'Woman of the Year' award in 2024 and, in 2021, was awarded BSN Lawyer of the Year at the UK Diversity Legal Awards.
