We are delighted to announce that Anna Morris of Garden Court Chambers’ Inquests Team has been appointed as an Assistant Coroner for Greater Manchester South. She will be sitting part-time at Stockport Coroner’s Court alongside the Acting Senior Coroner Joanne Kearsley.
Anna will combine her practice with her commitments as a Coroner. Anna is ranked in Chambers and Partners in both Civil Liberties and Human Rights and in Police Law. Anna most recently represented 12 of the 96 families who lost loved ones in the Hillsborough Stadium disaster in 1989. From the very start of her career at the Bar, Anna has been instructed in significant and complex inquests involving deaths in state custody or care.
