Introduction to Article 2 Inquests

Inquests which engage Article 2 ECHR are those where there is some suggestion that the State may be responsible in some way for death. The seminar is designed as an introduction to the law and procedure of this growing area of work. It is predominantly aimed at lawyers without previous experience in this area and who are interested in developing knowledge or expertise.

The seminar aims to cover the legal developments that have impacted on such Inquests and the practice and procedure that now governs them.
