The School Inclusion Project (‘SIP’) is a forum coordinated by the Garden Court Chambers Education Law Team in partnership with the Communities Empowerment Network, Just for Kids Law and the Law Centres Network. SIP aims to address systemic discrimination in the education system through policy work and strategic litigation.
SIP convenes quarterly meetings to bring together frontline organisations, policy professionals and legal practitioners to consider pressing policy issues in this area.
The first quarterly policy meeting will be held on Monday 21 February 2022, 11am-12.30pm and will be a discussion of how SIP and others can respond to the recently launched Department for Education consultation, ‘Revised behaviour in schools guidance and suspension and permanent exclusions guidance.’
The meeting will take place via Zoom.
