Laurie Fransman QC, Adrian Berry and the Garden Court Immigration Team held the official launch of the Third Edition of Fransman’s British Nationality Law on 17 June. The launch was well attended by solicitors, barristers, academics and representatives of NGOs, as well as the publishers Bloomsbury Professional.

Guests were treated to a welcoming address from the guest of honour, Lord Avebury. Lord Avebury is widely recognised as the parliamentarian having the greatest and most beneficial impact on the content and implementation of British nationality law in modern times.

Laurie, together with contributors Adrian Berry and Alison Harvey, spent hundreds of hours thoroughly updating the work, to give definitive guidance on who has British Nationality and how it is acquired and lost.

Copies of the new edition can be ordered from Bloomsbury Professional.

Laurie Fransman QC and Adrian Berry are leading expert in British nationality law and immigration, and are both member of the Garden Court Business and Private Immigration and Asylum and Human Rights Immigration teams.
