The Association of Sri Lankan Lawyers in the UK organised a seminar on the topic of "Access to the Legal Profession – The Impact of Paid Pupillage" prior to its annual general meeting at Garden Court Chambers on 22 May 2010.

The seminar was well attended and received by the solicitors, barristers, law students, bar pupils and many others connected to the field of law. Lalith De Kauwe, the General Secretary made the welcome address and the key note speakers were Lee Karu QC and Stephen Leslie QC, Leader of the South Eastern Circuit. Their contribution was invaluable and commended by all.
