Elena Papamichael was led by Dean George KC (2BR Chambers) at the Old Bailey in representing a teenage defendant charged along with five others in a joint enterprise group attack in the street wherein a 17-year-old was killed. The case involved significant CCTV footage analysis.
Elena undertook a number of legal arguments, including on the exclusion of evidence and assisted in advancing written submissions on the legal directions on joint enterprise liability.
Elena’s client was acquitted of murder and manslaughter by the jury.
