Public Inquiries
Overview
Roger was the lead representative for Mind, the leading national mental health charity, in the three-month hearing of Module 3 of the Covid Inquiry, concentrating on CYPMHS. That involved the examination of over 16,000 documents, and the questioning of numerous witnesses including doctors, senior representatives of the NHS, politicians and doctors. He understands how Inquiries work, including the drafting and justification of CP rule 6 proposals, liaising with CTI and the wider Inquiry legal team, drafting and delivering oral and written submissions, and in particular the importance of clear forward planning at every step.
