This conference explores the essential legal skills required from inception to completion of any criminal case. At every key stage from the police station through to appeal, the speakers will discuss the strategies and key authorities which practitioners need to be conversant with in order to deliver the best defence to clients.

The conference also aims to further strengthen the unity in the criminal defence profession against government cuts to the vital work which solicitors and barristers are doing.
