Join the leading Immigration and Public Law teams of Garden Court Chambers for our joint all-day conference on the Nationality and Borders Bill.
This Bill overhauls all areas of immigration, nationality and asylum law. The UNHCR has stated they believe this Bill will ‘penalise most refugees seeking asylum in the country, creating an asylum model that undermines established international refugee protection rules and practices'. This timely conference will coincide with the Bill’s anticipated passage through the final stage of the Parliamentary process.
Book your place now for expert advice and training on all aspects of the legislation, as well as insights on strategic challenges from our leading legal experts.
This event is essential for immigration and public law practitioners, as well as those in the NGO and Migrant Support sectors.
Our conference is chaired by Adrian Berry of Garden Court Chambers. Adrian is a Patron of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA). He has worked across the Bill drafting briefings and amendments for ILPA, as well as giving evidence on its behalf to the House of Commons Public Bill Committee. In addition, he produced Bill briefings for the Bar Council and the Society of Labour Lawyers.
