This Prison Law seminar will provide an overview of the legislation, rules, orders and instructions that govern the prison system as well as prison complaints and adjudications. It will also give an introduction to the rights of prisoners (including security categorisation and re-categorisation) and the way in which judicial review can be used to give effect to those rights.
