Ifẹ Thompson specialises in all areas of criminal defence and human rights law with particular expertise in youth matters, assault emergency workers, s.45 Modern slavery defences and cases to do with vulnerable defendants. She is a leading practitioner in the use of racial trauma experts in criminal defence cases and highlighting the issue of anti-Blackness and racial discrimination within criminal matters. She was a 2023 Legal Aid Lawyer on the Year finalist in the category of 'Legal Aid New Comer'. Sam Parham is her supervisor.

One of her clients described Ifẹ as "an outstanding legal aid barrister who explores every possible avenue for her clients. She is willing to challenge cases in bold but necessary ways and achieves great outcomes as a result. She is a specialist in racial justice. Many of her cases have an intersect of racial injustice and police misconduct and she has adapted her practice to use the law in creative ways to actively challenge these matters."

Alex Ryle is building a Crown Court defence practice. Alex came to the Bar after a successful career in film and television, bringing a calm authority and strong narrative skills.  He is persuasive with a tribunal and reassuring with clients. Anya Lewis KC is his supervisor.

Alex's colleagues at the Bar describe him as “extremely impressive" and "a natural advocate".
