James Scobie KC, instructed by Emma Schulhof of The Purkiss Partnership, has secured an unanimous acquittal for his client following a 12-day trial at Guildford Crown Court.
The case involved serious criminal charges arising from a former relationship. The prosecution presented evidence including recorded conversations and extensive digital communications and called multiple witnesses in support of the prosecution case.
Following detailed evidence from the defendant, who was on the witness stand over four days, the jury unanimously returned verdicts of not guilty after a few hours’ deliberation.
