At the Citizens Advice Annual Conference 2024 on 16 April 2024, the Citizens Advice Awards celebrated exceptional people, teams and projects from across their local service and Witness Service volunteers, which took place in the Eastside Rooms, Birmingham.

The team at Kirklees Citizens Advice & Law Centre, who instructed our barristers Desmond and Ollie, won the 'Most Outstanding Impact Award' for their work in the case The Commissioners for His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs v Mr Abubaker Arrbab [2024] EWCA Civ 16.

The Award recognises a local Citizens Advice/Witness Service team or project that demonstrated having an outstanding positive impact on a client or community.
