At Gloucester Crown Court on 31st August 2017, David Emanuel represented Liverpool FC footballer Lloyd Jones in proceedings for affray and assault. Mr Jones, who is named in Liverpool’s first team squad for the forthcoming season, pleaded guilty. After hearing submissions the court ordered a stand down probation report and passed a community penalty. David Emanuel’s plea in mitigation was reported extensively in the Mirror. David was instructed by Shaun Draycott of Draycott Browne Solicitors in Manchester.
