Garden Court Chambers is proud to announce that barrister Marc Willers is a finalist in the Legal Aid Barrister category of the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year (LALY) awards.

Marc is well known for his human rights and public law work, both in the UK and across Europe. In particular he has worked tirelessly on behalf of Gypsies and Travellers.

The Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year awards are organised by the Legal Aid Practitioners Group, as a unique celebration of the often unsung work of those in the public sector. This is their ninth year. The winners in the nine award categories will be announced by Cherie Booth QC at a ceremony in London on 28 June.
