As the Grenfell Tower Fire Inquiry enters its final phases, Allison Munroe QC of Garden Court Chambers has been delivering oral presentations on behalf of bereaved families she represents.

Over 5 years on from the disaster, the 21st of July marked the formal end of the evidence in the Grenfell Tower Fire Inquiry, with the final presentations on behalf of the bereaved families. This module has been emotionally and psychologically painful and distressing for all the Grenfell families, who nonetheless have endured it with dignity, fortitude and immense courage. In the next few months, the Inquiry will move on to considering submissions on recommendations. The writing of the Phase 2 report, will undoubtedly take some considerable time; so as yet there is no set publication date.
