Prince Philip’s former aide cleared of indecent assault

Benjamin Herman, a former equerry to Prince Philip, has been found not guilty on three counts of indecent assault on a girl under 13 and one count of indecency towards a child.

Mr Herman was defended in court by Nerida Harford-Bell of Garden Court Chambers. The jury took just 40 minutes to clear Mr Herman. The case was tried by Mr Justice Irwin.
