SHIRAZ AZIZ APPOINTED AS HIGH COURT JUDGE OF THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN SUPREME COURT

We are proud to announce the appointment of Shiraz Aziz as High Court Judge of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court. He will take up his position as the Honourable Mr. Justice Aziz on 1 April 2015 and he has been assigned to Grenada. Shiraz joined Garden Court Chambers in 2008 and was called to the bar in 1997.

Shiraz has a predominantly criminal law practice, involving fraud, money laundering, bribery and corruption law, which has developed over the last 14 years in the UK and internationally. Recently, Shiraz has been instructed to lead defence teams on some of the largest money laundering cases in the Eastern Caribbean.

He has been described as “one of the most sought after criminal practitioners” in various Commonwealth Caribbean jurisdictions.
