Stephen Lue recently won his case in the High Court, where he represented a father in care proceedings. The case, in its entirety, had lasted for four and a half years. Stephen began representing the father in 2024.

The initial findings were of Fabricated Induced Illness against the mother. Stephen successfully represented the father in a rolled-up fact finding and final hearing, taking several weeks, where the mother made belated allegations of coercive and controlling behaviour, sexual abuse and attempted to blame him for depriving the children of food.

The court made none of the findings sought by the mother and made further findings of dishonesty against the mother.

The parties five children remained living with the father under supervision orders.
