Frank Magennis of the Garden Court Employment Law Team represents Alexander Cachinero-Gorman & Abel Harvie-Clark.
Two former SOAS students represented by Franck Magennis, have reached a settlement with the university’s students’ union after they were dismissed by the union trustee board in June 2024 and prevented from taking up their elected positions as student sabbatical officers.
Alexander Cachinero-Gorman and Abel Harvie-Clark claimed wrongful dismissal for anti-Zionist beliefs and pro-Palestine activism.
As reported in Middle East Eye, Franck Magennis has called for SOAS Students’ Union to apologise to his clients and to hold an inquiry.
