Module 3 of the UK Covid-19 Inquiry held its first Preliminary Hearing on 28 February 2023.

Members of the Garden Court Inquests & Inquiries Team delivered opening statements on behalf of Core Participants.

Allison Munroe KC represents the Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice for Module 3, instructed by Elkan Abrahamson of Broudie Jackson Canter Solicitors.

Module 3 will look into the governmental and societal response to Covid-19 as well as dissect the impact that the pandemic had on healthcare systems, patients and healthcare workers. This will include healthcare governance, primary care, NHS backlogs, the effects on healthcare provision by vaccination programmes as well as long covid diagnosis and support.
