We are pleased to announce that Kirsten Heaven, of the Garden Court Chambers Inquiries Team, has been instructed to represent the non-state core participant co-operating group at the Undercover Policing Public Inquiry. She is instructed by Lydia Dagostino of Kellys Solicitors.

Garden Court Chambers has a number of other counsel who have been instructed to represent clients at the Inquiry. 

Rajiv Menon QC, leading Una Morris are instructed by Richard Parry of Saunders Law & Jane Deighton of Deighton Pierce Glynn. They represent clients Audrey Adams, Nathan Adams, Richard Adams, Duwayne Brooks Obe & Ken Livingstone, who were spied on by the police. 

Russell Fraser is also instructed by Richard Parry at Saunders Law. He represents Tariq Ali, Norman Blair, Piers Corbyn, Ernie Tate, Myk Zeitlin, Advisory Service for Squatters, Friends of Freedom Press Ltd.

James Scobie QC leads Piers Marquis of Doughty Street Chambers, instructed by Paul Heron of The Public Interest Law Centre, representing Lois Austin, Richard Chessum, 'Mary', Dave Nellist, Hannah Sell & Youth against Racism in Europe.

Owen Greenhall is instructed by Mike Schwarz of Hodge Jones & Allen who represents over 100 core participants across the inquiry. Owen is led by Matthew Ryder QC of Matrix Chambers. In Tranche 1 of the UCPI they represent Lord Peter Hain, Ernest Rodker and Prof Jonathan Rosenhead who were targeted by undercover officers due to their activities as anti-apartheid campaigners.

Sarah Hemingway is Second Junior Counsel to the Inquiry. 

The next tranche of hearings will commence in April 2021.
