This training event will offer practical guidance on making urgent applications for a writ of Habeas Corpus to ensure the release of clients unlawfully detained in custody.
The training will cover:
- Issues when considering whether to make an out of hours application to the High Court
- The procedure for making such applications
- Recent case law in this area
- Legal aid and other costs considerations.
This event is open to solicitors, trainee solicitors, CILEX members, pupil barristers, junior barristers and anyone else who is interested in the subject matter.
This event is fully booked. We will be back in touch to confirm whether a place is available at the event.
