Five days into a re-trial, and further to legal argument, the Crown offered no evidence. Not Guilty verdicts were recorded for the defendant and a co-defendant, in relation to charges of possession of a firearm with intent, possession of ammunition, robbery, and wounding with intent (s.18) further to an incident where a man was shot in the leg.
This successful result was aided by careful attention to detail and thorough preparation, including site visits, by instructing solicitor Veli Avdji.
