Leslie Thomas has been named as a leading campaigner in The Lawyer magazine’s Hot 100 list. Leslie is recognised for the work he does regarding deaths in custody and at the hands of the police.

On 8 January 2014, the jury at the inquest into the death of Mark Duggan, who was shot by police in August 2011, reached its conclusion. Leslie Thomas represented the loved ones of Mr Duggan.

The jury in the Mark Duggan inquest retired at 15:07 today to consider their conclusions in the 13-week inquest. They must decide how and in what circumstances Mark Duggan came to be shot by a firearms officer during the course of a police operation on 4

Azelle Rodney was shot dead by a Metropolitan Police officer on 30 April 2005. Today, in a historic report, Sir Christopher Holland, the Chairman of the Azelle Rodney Inquiry, found that the death of Azelle Rodney was unlawful.
